[cgreek:00298] Re: cgreek21

Dear Willam Furley,

I'm sorry that I didn't write in the mailing list for a long time.
Though on the Japanese Mailing List Mr.Takahashi and I made some
hot discussions on the TeX conversion of "«" and "»", I had no time
to transfer the discussions into this Mailing List.

  # Though "«" and "»" appear very often when we read French, LaTeX
  # conversion routine of cgreek does not "automatically" convert
  # them.

As for me, I have been used Emacs 20 and cgreek package for it till
a few weeks ago, and was much satisfied with it, for Mr.Takahashi
has completely realized our requests for the multilingual environments
including Classical Greek.

But now that Fedora Core 1 was released and the environments of Japanese
language was totally altered from EUC-Japan to Unicode, I am constructing
the new Japanese environment and began to use Emacs 21. So, perhaps in
a few weeks or so, I will make some comments concerning cgreek 21 if
necessary.

As for the word-search on the TLG, I also think it very useful and necessary.
If it were realized, almost every thing is done within Emacs !

In addition to it, if the following functions were realized, it would be
happy.

  1. Use of various kinds of font in printing-out TeX texts.

       # Perhaps it can be realized by using KD Package.

  2. CGreek spell checker.
