[cgreek:00301] Re: cgreek21

Theoretically, I can write a progrem that

1. reads a word that you type,
2. expands the word to all possible forms (declensions, conjugations, etc.),
3. searches the TLG files for those forms, and
4. displays the result with the context,

if a table for word expansion is available.

However, we already have Diogenes. So let's not reinvent the wheel.
All we have to do is write a program that bridges CGreek and Diogenes.
Something like this:

1. You type a Greek word (or words) using your favorite input method.
(ibycus, mizuochi, beta code, elot, ...)
2. Emacs converts the typed string into Diogenes' input encoding
(Unicode?) and sends it to Diogenes for search.
3. Diogenes returns the search result to Emacs.
4. Emacs displays the result in a buffer, with some formatting if
   necessary.

What do you think?

I agree. Would someone, who is familiar with Diogenes and more fluent
in English than I, let Heslin know the existence of CGreek?
