TAKAHASHI Naoto received his B.Eng., M.Eng. and Ph.D degrees in engineering from the University of Tsukuba in 1987, 1989 and 1992. He worked in Electrotechnical Laboratory from April 1992 to March 2001 and was a visiting researcher at LEIBNIZ-IMAG in France from December 1995 to February 1996, and October 1996 to September 1997. Currently he is working for National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) as a senior research scientist. His interests include natural language processing, neural networks and multilingual information systems. He is a member of the Information Processing Society of Japan, the Japanese Society of Artificial Intelligence and the Association for Natural Language Processing.
